Delphi is an AI thinking companion. It is built to collect as little about you as possible — there are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking across apps or websites. This page explains exactly what happens to what you type.
Delphi (“the app”, “we”) is an independent app made by Jimmy Zhang. Questions: contact@jimmyzhang.org.
To produce replies, your message text is sent to OpenRouter, which routes it to the underlying AI model provider (for example, Anthropic). These providers process your text to generate a response and under our configuration do not use it to train their models. Their handling is governed by their own policies:
If you subscribe to unlock more usage, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment card details; we only learn whether your subscription is active. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Delphi is not directed to children. Because it produces open-ended AI content, it is intended for users aged 17 and older.
Because we do not hold data tied to your identity, there is little for us to retrieve or delete. You can clear the on-device conversation by starting a new one or removing the app. For any privacy request or question, email contact@jimmyzhang.org. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EEA or California), you may have rights to access or delete personal data; we will honor applicable requests.
All traffic between the app and our server uses encryption in transit (HTTPS). The AI provider key and system prompt are kept on the server and are never shipped inside the app.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
